As we wrap up 2021 and welcome 2022, the Union of Nation-builders and Innovators for Transparency, Empowerment, and Development (UNITED) wishes everyone a Happy New Year!
Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, UNITED started 2021 with a well accomplished 36th CIT University - Supreme Student Government Administration and Congress. The first UNITED Emerging Leaders Summit was also launched in March 2021 which featured insightful resource speakers and topics that concerns young and aspiring student leaders. It was followed by a sweeping victory in the 2021 elections as it won all of the elective executive positions and obtained a supermajority in the legislative department, its biggest haul in its party history.
The party inducted its new officers led by Chairperson Geraldine Jane Empuerto and organized several activities such as the blood donation webinar, the first run of Project BOOKas, the members' night, the ML Clash event, and recently the Bangon Teknoy fundraising.
We stood with the students on the issue on inclusive education for all Technologians pertaining to BEV-IOM-129-21 or the Guidelines in the Conduct of Online Examinations, on supporting the call to #EndTheSem and waive all academic submissions after the onslaught of Typhoon #OdettePH.
As we rebuild and recover from this unfortunate catastrophe, let us remain hopeful and optimistic as we welcome the NEXT year, 2022.
UNITED ta sa pagbangon, Technologians!
