#EndTheSem, CIT University!

We stand in unity with the CIT University - Supreme Student Government and the whole Technologian community in appealing for the ending of the semester and the waiving of all pending examinations and requirements.

SOLIDARITY STATEMENT ON THE CALL OF THE CIT-U SSG TO #ENDTHESEM

The Union of Nation-builders and Innovators for Transparency, Empowerment, and Development (UNITED) stands in solidarity with the CIT University Supreme Student Government and the whole Technologian community in appealing for ending of the semester and the waiving of all pending examinations and requirements.

The torrential rains and violent winds brought by the recent Typhoon #OdettePH have already damaged countless homes and properties and even claimed multiple lives of our fellowmen. In a challenging time like this, UNITED believes that students should shift their priorities to rebuilding, recovering, and surviving.

As a pro-student youth-led organization, our sentiments go for those students who do not have a home to shelter them, for students who have no electricity and data connection, for students who struggle to secure drinking water, and for those who are struggling mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically right now. 

No amount of resilience can feed the mouths of the victims nor rebuild their lost homes. This is a time where we struggle and this is the time where we extend our compassion to our brothers and sisters by giving them the time and support they need to stand back again.
