LEGISLATIVE OFFICERS
HOUSE SPEAKER
Presides over all the regular and special sessions of the Congress, implements its rules and regulations, signs its documents, bills, acts, & resolutions, and is the ex-officio Chairperson of the Commission on Appointments.
SPEAKER PRO TEMPORE
Presides over all the regular and special sessions of the Congress in the absence of the House Speaker, aids in implementing its rules and regulations and signs its documents, bills, acts, & resolutions in absence of the House Speaker.
LEGISLATIVE SECRETARY
Reports directly to the House Speaker, keeps official records of the legislative body's proceedings, and is the Chairperson of the Secretariat.
ASSISTANT LEGISLATIVE SECRETARY
Assists the Legislative Secretary in performing his/her duties.
COMMITTEE ON FINANCE (COF) HEAD
The Committee on Finance is in charge of recording the expenditures of the CIT University - SSG and enforcing standard operating procedures in regard to the financial system. It is also in charge of the preparation of the annual budget, of which allocation must be given to all under the structure of the CIT-U SSG.
COMMITTEE ON INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (CIM) HEAD
The Committee on Information Management is in charge of the circulation of acts, resolutions, and laws approved by the Congress to keep the student body informed of all its transactions. It also formulates laws and resolutions that will assist the Commission on Public Relations in creating a system of the different processes for information dissemination
COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC RELATIONS (CPR) HEAD*
NOTE: The Committee on Public Relations was transferred to the Executive Department in 2017 and became the Commission on Public Relations.
COMMITTEE ON RESEARCH (COR) HEAD
The Committee on Research facilitates research and related activities of the CIT University - SSG and advises the Congress and the Executive Department on events, programs, policies, and priorities regarding research and related activities.

COMMITTEE ON RULES AND REGULATIONS (CRAR) HEAD
The Committee on Rules and Regulations scrutinizes policies, bills, and resolutions regarding the rules and regulations inside the office. It is also in charge of the rules and regulations to promote efficiency and integrity in the performance of the functions and duties of the CIT University - SSG officers.
COMMITTEE ON TECHNOLOGIAN CONCERNS (CTC) HEAD
The Committee on Technologian Concerns receives from the college/department representatives, grievances and concerns of any student against any person for acts or violations of his right as a student and submit its findings to the proper authority of the University for proper action.
NOTE: The Committee on Grievances and Concerns was renamed in 2020 as the Committee on Technologian Concerns.
AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR POST-PANDEMIC RESPONSE (AHCPPR)
The Ad Hoc Committee for Post-Pandemic Response shall only be limited to the crafting, coordinating, and implementing health programs, safety and preventive measures, and student health measures against COVID-19.
NOTE: The Ad Hoc Committee for Post-Pandemic Response was created through Resolution No. 45 Series of 2122 and was only for Academic Year 2021-2022. It was later reconstituted for Academic Year 2022-2023.
AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR EMERGENCIES AND CALAMITIES (AHCEC)
The Ad Hoc Committee for Emergencies and Calamities shall be the brains of developing a strategic plan to such preventive measures and student health measures in times of calamities or emergencies.
NOTE: The Ad Hoc Committee for Emergencies and Calamities was created through Resolution No. 23 Series of 2223.
AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR GENDER AND SEXUALITY DEVELOPMENT (AHCGSD)
The Ad Hoc Committee for Gender and Sexuality Development shall be the brains of developing a strategic plan to help widen the fight for gender inclusivity and equality and also to spread awareness.
NOTE: The Ad Hoc Committee for Gender and Sexuality Development was created through Resolution No. 63 Series of 2223.
