Every day we commemorate the victims & educate ourselves about one of the darkest chapters of Philippine history. 𝐋𝐒𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨, a jeepney driver during the Marcos regime, shares with us the struggles of the people who were affected by the economic crisis under the administration of the late dictator Marcos Sr.

We must not forget the horrible legacy of the Marcos dictatorship that has committed atrocities including several human rights violations, perpetrated large scale corruption, and led the country’s economy to its worst decline in history. People were tortured and killed for speaking up against a regime intent on silencing the truth.

UNITED for CIT University will remain to stand in solidarity in fighting justice for all Martial Law victims and survivors. Marcos will never be a hero! The power is within us people.

Never again should we stand idly by whilst the people suffer from injustices and being silenced.
