The Marcos dictatorship was nothing but an administration that was extremely unjust and intrusive.

More often than not, truths and facts are buried so it’s up to us to research, dissect and discern the facts from the myths. With that, the Union of Nation-builders and Innovators for Transparency, Empowerment, and Development (UNITED) encourages everyone to resist the rising threat of historical revisionism and misinformation done by the current administration.

As a youth-driven organization, it is our advocacy that we continue to stand and be the beacon of truth that will prevail and resist tyranny and historical revisionism!

FACT 2: JUSTICE REMAINS ELUSIVE

The Human Rights Victims' Claims Board - created by the government to "receive, evaluate, process, and investigate" reparation claims made by victims of human rights abuses during martial law, and which ceased its work in 2018 - received as many as 75,000 claimants, but only over 11,000 of these were recognized following the board's assessment.

Continue to prevail and never forget.
