Today, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐, is an important holiday in Philippine history since 2004 by virtue of Republic Act No. 9256. This day has been declared as a special non-working day in observance of 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲.

UNITED for CIT University joins the commemoration of the life and legacy of Filipino politician Benigno S. ‘Ninoy’ Aquino Jr. — he who inspired and influenced a number of Filipinos as he fought for the country’s independence and democracy against the tyranny of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Together, may we always remember his words, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫.
