UNITED secures 4peat victory in 2022 SSG Elections

UNITED has further expanded its winning streak with a 4peat victory in the 2022 CIT University - Supreme Student Government elections held last June 1-3, 2022.

This is the second online SSG election conducted by the CIT University - Commission on Elections and participated by more than 3,000 Technologians. The party also won all 5 elective positions in the executive department and retained its supermajority in the legislative department.

Aldrin Glen Gumandoy is the first President from the Electrical Engineering Department since 2009 while Jhonryl Camacho is the first Vice President from the College of Computer Studies since 2007. Meanwhile, Athena Ducay is the first Secretary General from the Civil Engineering Department since it became an elective position in 2020. Treasurer General-elect Veronica Madarang and Executive Auditor-elect Rhea Mae Mahilom are also the first elected in their respective positions.

For its third supermajority, 47 out of its 52 candidates for legislative representatives won making it the second highest win percentage after the 2021 SSG elections.

The incoming Gumandoy Administration will be the CIT University - Supreme Student Government's 38th along with its Congress.
