The Union of Nation-builders and Innovators for Transparency, Empowerment, and Development (UNITED) took part in the National Students' Caucus of the Student Council Alliance of the Philippines (SCAP) last June 18, 2022. Secretary General Jhonryl Camacho and Marketing Committee Head Yankee Caburnay were joined by fellow UNITEDmates Angel Mae Lonzaga, Katherine Lastimosa and Myles Cirunay.

With keynote addresses from Atty. Chel Diokno and Senator Risa Hontiveros, the virtual event was participated by approximately 300 student councils, organizations, and individual students across the country who helped in crafting a more comprehensive call to declare education crisis and push for an education agenda.

This agenda will be turned over to the Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the newly established Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II) among other educational authorities to anchor their policies and programs on the organic concerns of the students.

Together, let's call and push for an educational system that every Filipino students deserve!

UNITED is a member organization of SCAP since November 22, 2021.
