"Freedom is what we currently enjoy but was fought to the death by our mightiest heroes."

Today, we wholly pay tribute to the freedom fighters of the past who sacrificed their lives for the nation. We also acknowledge the efforts done for the endowment of our country’s sovereignty as well as the development of our Filipino heritage, culture and tradition.

In the 124th celebration of the Philippines Independence day, may we never forget the heroic acts of our fellow Filipinos in the past against colonizers. May we incorporate nationalism as a habit to profoundly recognize the past and unquestionably devote ourselves for the good of the nation.

Several Filipinos offered their skills and expertise to achieve independence and democracy.

Their stories deserve to be heard as they will serve as lessons to us citizens of this country. Let us appreciate the life of being a Filipino and wave our very own Philippine flag endearingly.
